Maintenance Mode for a Website in Power Pages

Maintenance mode in Power Pages allows administrators to temporarily restrict access to a website while performing updates, deployments, or troubleshooting activities. During this period, users can only access the system maintenance page.

When maintenance mode is enabled, visitors can only access the /_services/about endpoint while the rest of the site remains unavailable.

Enable Maintenance Mode

Power Platform Admin Center → Power Pages Sites → Manage Site → Site Actions → Enable Maintenance Mode
  1. Open Power Platform Admin Center.
  2. Navigate to Power Pages Sites.
  3. Select the required website.
  4. Go to Manage Site.
  5. Open Site Actions.
  6. Select Enable Maintenance Mode.

Important: Ensure the custom page is always available externally to avoid fallback to default maintenance page.

Disable or Update Maintenance Mode

Administrators can update or disable maintenance mode at any time from the Power Platform Admin Center.
