The Power Pages design studio helps you quickly build and customize powerful websites.

Note:
To edit a site in the design studio, you must have the required roles and permissions within the same Microsoft Dataverse environment as the site.

The design studio includes five main workspaces, each focused on a specific task.

Design Studio Workspaces

Each workspace is designed to support a specific area of site creation and management:

  1. Pages workspace
    • Build and design webpages with in-context editing
    • Add no-code and low-code components
    • Supports text, images, videos, Power BI reports, lists, and forms
  2. Styling workspace
    • Apply global branding settings
    • Choose from 13 preset themes
    • Customize colors, fonts, buttons, and spacing
    • Live preview shown during styling
  3. Set up workspace
    • Configure authentication providers
    • Manage security and permissions
    • Control go-live settings
    • Enable Progressive Web App (PWA) features
  4. Security workspace
    • Monitor site protection
    • Manage security controls centrally
    • Review and maintain site safety
  5. Data workspace
    • Model and manage business data
    • Create and edit Dataverse tables
    • Update forms and views
    • Manage lists and data visualization
