Troubleshoot Provisioning Issues
If provisioning fails, you can restart the process:
- Go to the Applications page.
- Select the affected site.
- Select the Manage (pencil) button.
- Select one of the following:
- Restart Provisioning — reuse existing settings.
- Change Values and Restart Provisioning — modify settings first.
When Package Installation Fails
- Open Dynamics 365 Administration Center.
- Go to Solution Management.
- Check the package status.
- If status shows Install Failed, retry installation.
- Ensure Dataverse default language matches the site installation language.
Some solutions require prerequisites before installation. Missing prerequisites will cause installation failure.
Change Site Type and Audience
To modify site audience, type, or organization, reset and provision the site again. Changing the Dynamics 365 instance is supported only for sites created using older add-ons.
Note:After provisioning, the site audience cannot be changed. Reset and reprovision if needed.
